Interesting thing. I was using Precision Bullets 185 grain RFN's for my 10mm with Crimson Trace Laser grips. I was punching out very small circles at 15 ft. I decided to try a Berry's copper plated 155 grain HBRN's, and I was all over the target. So the next trip out I tried some Berry's 180 grain HP's, and I was punching small holes again, but about three inches to the left of center. I thought my laser grips might have lost their zero, but when I put some of the Precision Bullets back in, Bingo, small hole tight in the center. I could believe some north south difference in the loads, but find it hard to explain an east west difference. Any way the Precision Bullets are cheaper, so I guess I'll use the Berry's up in my Ruger KP944DC 40 S&W. It don't care what I put in her, and they go where I point them.

I'm assuming your using the same powder in both loads? Some bullets act perform different with different powder/charges. If Precision is working for you I'd stick with it or try different powder/charge combos with the Berry's.
