Father's Day gift

I've been messing around with the idea of getting my dad some kind of used 12 gauge shotgun for father's day. What's the price range for a used Remington, Winchester or Mossberg pump action in decent shape?

This will probably end up being a HD shotgun, along with being used for just messing around at the range and not very serious competition.

Most areas,$2-300.

Look for used police turnins, they're often ragged on the exterior, but near new inside.

Besides the ones mentioned, look for Ithaca 37s, a really fine shotgun but one overlooked sometimes.
