Only outdoors now ... 20 years ago maybe, was doing target pistol and rifle in an indoor smallbore club.

outdoors, because it's cheaper.

I only shoot outdoors for my rifles. So it isn't very often. Though the price at both places is the same, inside is A/C and the target hangers are motorized.

And soon, it will be way too scorching to shoot outside, hopefully, I will get my AR kit soon and be able to fire it before it starts getting into more of the summer weather.

on our farm of fifty acres. The range is measured out to 300 yards and there is a hundred foot high (actually a small hill) backstop. We are very, very rural and nobody cares when or how much we shoot. It's heaven. Good shooting;)

Outdoors only
I walk to my back yard, staple a round bull’s-eye paper target to a dying tree, step off 13 or 25 yards & fire away.

Well it depends. Outdoors mostly when I'm target shooting or hunting. But occassionally an errant ground squirrel or magpie shows up as a target of opportunity. In which case the rear bedroom window is hastily cranked open to snipe said varmint. So I guess you could say I shoot indoors too although my aim is to the outdoors. :neener:

Nowadays it's all outdoors. The gun club used to have a deal with the city, the club used the indoor police range and in exchange kept the place maintained. Then someone noticed that the facility wasn't handicapped accessible so the building was changed to LEO only.

All outdoors now. They closed the indoor range that was close to work.:(

Mostly at the indoor range, all my outside shooting is done at the skeet/trap range.

I've shot indoors exactly four times. Twice just going with a friend that wanted to check out a new gun (rental) and twice because I got a token for 30 mintues range time with purchase of a gun from that store.

Compared to a whole lotta outdoor shootin. :p

I'm shooting outdoors these days, but would much rather shoot indoors 100% of the time.

I shoot my rifles outdoors exclusively and a lot of my pistol shooting is done inside at a range, but not all of it.

I'm lucky enough to have a couple ranges on my ground so all my shooting is outdoors.

I would like to build an indoor range but I don't see that happening.:)

I shoot outdoors 100% of the time, just walk out into the woods and blast away. Man I love living away from people. :D
