Just got a e-mail that Browning is Going to offer there Hi-Power (.40 Cal) in Mossy Oak Camo. Gun looks a little ridiculous IMO but it might be a cool collector.

That is gross....

I will believe it when I see it.

That is not something I made up. They (browning) are doing their Cynergy in the same color and it is pretty nice. I handle one every day. The Hi-Power is kinda messed up but for a collector it is something different.

That gun makes baby John Moses Browning cry.

That is worse than the desert brown Kimbers.
At least I haven't seen a gun in a chameleon (a Ford Probe finish) purplish yet.

Is that any way to treat a High Power?

Looks like someone lost their lunch on it!

Pretty silly camo scheme on that Hi-power, but what the heck, even in the funny livery, its still a truly great handgun. I would not want to go up against a guy with a Hi-Power, even a silly looking one.

My luck, I'd drop it in the weeds and lose it.

I did not know about that; you say a .40 HP? How can that be anything but good? Tell me more. I would not care about the finish, just the machine, which, to me, sounds awesome.

Hi Powers have been available in .40 S&W for a while.

:D

The Hi-Power is a fine gun, no doubt, but for hunting in the brush, I think I'd rather have a different sidearm.

I just threw up a little in my mouth.

On the other hand, though, I'm glad Browning is still devoting time and energy to their Hi-Power line. We need more Hi-Powers out there.

Look at the pile he left on the gun.

Hawk, that was the first thing I thought of. I had a 6 1/2" .357 blackhawk bounce out of a holster on horseback one time, and it was a bear to find. You'd never see that thing again.

Well, I don't like that one bit. Guns should be walnut and steel. "paint" like that doesn't belong.

While I admit I wouldn't Pay for that particular finish and or Pay someone to do it to one of my Guns, Somebody must want one that way and be willing to pay for it.
More money than Brains if you ask me, But they didn't.
