Hello,

I am in the need of a utility pouch, and so far only mag pouches have...*ahem* fit the invoice.

What I need to know, is what are the dimensions for a M14/M1A mag and a 20rnd AR-15 mag?

M14 magazine is 6 inches from base to top edge of feed lips, 3 inches front to back (side measure) and 1 inch thick.

No AR15 magazine handy to measure.

I can't give dimensions offhand, but any pouch that holds 2 AR mags will hold one .30 cal mag.

I am in the same league as to the exact dimensions but I use Sec Ops four magazine AR15 pouches to also carry 2 M1A or HK-91 magazines.

The US military magazine pouch pouch for the M14 holds 2 M14 mags parallell to the body or 3 20 rd M16 mags perpendicular to the body.

Tactical Taylor makes pouches that hold either 3 x 30round AR or 2 x 20 round M14 mags

Rem700, is that the M1 Carbine .30cal?

I bet a quarter that he means M14/FAL/G3.
