Just broke the 15,000 round mark this weekend with my Glock 17. I bought it in 1993 NIB and it has had 1 failure to feed in that time, despite my running about 4k+ FMJ handloads through it. Just wanted to share my experience with the best 400 bucks I ever spent. Oh, and now that Minnesota went to "shall-issue" I am looking at a G26 to possibly fill my carry needs. :D

15k is a lotta bullets there brother! Go with a 26 for your CCW needs. Small, light, goes bang every time, same trigger pull every time and just like the one ya got 15k thru except for size. CCW for me is a 27, the wife chooses 26. Go for it.

15,000 rounds through a G17...that's barely broken in!

Congrats on a fine firearm.
In a few more years, it will be broken in. :p
(Rats! Harrydog beat me by 2 minutes!)

I think that gun raised the bar as far as ruggedness and reliability goes.
I've been without a Glock for a while, and I miss them.
If the AWB dies, and I can get genuine Glock mags for $20-30, I would grab a G19 pretty quick.
