I love my Mosins!

They actually do have a safety. It's just such a pain that nobody's ever used it. I also have one built in 1896 that has the sights marked, not in meters, but in "arshins". (an arshin = .71 meters, or approximately one pace)

On the AK side
You consider it a badge of honor when you get your handguards to burst into flames
So true good link :D .

Some of those side-by-sides would make a great t-shirt, that is, if you could fit it on a t-shirt. Maybe after I gain more weight this Christmas I can get a super grande XXXXXL mu-mu sized t-shirt and iron on the whole chart.

Being as I shot both my M-44 and my RRA this past weekend, it kinda makes me want an AK and a couple more Mosins!

I still regret selling my m38. I couldn't hit a coconut with it from 15 yards away with cz silvertip, but boy was it small and fun.

This was on Surplusrifle.com a while back. Still a classic. They left out:
AK- Bad guy drops like a sack of potatos.
AR- Bad guy says "hey that hurts".
Mosin- Bad guy disappears in red mist.
Couldn't resist.
