Anyone have any experience with this brand of ammo? Is it good or not?

It is good, clean, reliable, and decently accurate ammo. I shot this ammo briefly in my friends Mini-14. You get all the advantages of a brass case for a very low price.

I won't ever buy it again, based on a small bit of personal experience. Others have had better luck, so I would not condemn it overall as a brand.

I've shot 9x18, 38 Special, .223, 7.62x25, 7.62x39 and 12ga buckshot and still have a bunch put away. Good ammo.

7.62x25 and .45 ACP. The only two problems I have ever had is that the red shellac they use to seal the primers comes off when firing and adds to the cleaning a little (not really an issue though) and the .45 ACP was a little tough putting primers in when reloading. It could be the brand of primers I was using though.
Other than those two problems....I love the stuff. Great price and good quality without being dirty.

I've shot thousands of rounds of 9x19 S&B without a problem.

I use it in .32, .380, and 9mm. Clean, reliable, accurate, and pretty cheap. Natchezss usually has it on sale.

Good ammo, great price. I've had zero problems with the 1000 rounds that I've owned. I'd buy it more if I wasn't a reloader. :)

No problems here either shooting .45acp. For me, it has been comparable to Fiochi. Cheap, reliable, and accurate enough.

S&B been berry berry good to me. I've shot it in 38spl and 9mm. I find it to be slightly anemic, especially the 148gn wadcutters. You can watch them go down range. The 9mm is not loaded as hot, for instance as magtech, but it's passable. I really like the 158gn 38spl fmj. It shoots very nice in my M10.

I've used lots of their 9mm, .40, .25 and .32 without problems.

Hardly surprising that it's good stuff, as they've been making ammo in huge quantities for about 140 years (and percussion caps for longer) :)

I've used a lot of it in rifle, pistol and the large pellet count buckshot loads. I have a moderately large supplyof .223 ball set back as it functions and groups well in my bushmaster.

The only minor negative I've encountered is that the primer pockets on the .45 acp brass were too small for my domestic primers.
There was a lot of 38 lead round nose that was somewhat upper end as to velocities and the bullets pulled under recoil. A major negative but it seemed restricted to a single lot sent to one distributor and has been corrected.

I've run a good deal of S&B 223 thru both a Savage and Howa bolt actions. No complaints and on a good date can get groups inside a 1 inch circle at 100 yds. Tried some Wolf 223 in same rifles and the groups opened up about an inch so use Wolf in the Saiga. Based on comments above I may try some in 9 and 45 to see how it runs in a few handguns.

It's good enough for CZ to use in their guns at the factory. It's always performed great for me and at a good price. The primers are a bit harder than most others, but in a properly working gun will give no problems..
Good ammo.

S&B is very good ammo in my experiences with my .45 and 9mm, but the hard primers result in second strikes with my Kel-tec P32. Shortening the recoil spring helped a lot and the last time I shot S&B in the P32, it ran 100%, but I won't carry it.

It shoots a little hotter than many American brands of ammo so be prepared for a touch more recoil.

I have shot a bit of their 7.62X39, 9MM and .45 acp stuff. It was decent for the price I paid. I would buy more buy I load most of my own ammo now and what I don't I can buy WWB for about the same price.

A buddy used it in his SA GI 1911 and I've tried it in my Taurus PT138.

Neither one of us will use it again in anything. We both had feed issues and quality issues (bullets seated crooked, primers not seated) with both calibers.

I've used 9mm, .38spl, .357, and .45ACP with no problems. It's nowhere near as dirty as WWB and the brass seems to be little thicker compared to other brands.

The red sealant on the primers does come off but it cleans up easily. The primer pockets need to be hand-reamed a bit if you reload the cases, and the S&B primers will be a little more difficult to punch out but that may be due to the sealer.

I really like their .357 Mag 158gr FMJ ammo. It's pretty hot for a factory load at close to 1400fps and almost 700 ft-lbs of energy. Definitely a nice kick in my 6" SS GP100 :D

Great stuff... very strong brass and reloads great. 45ACP is my favorite.

I shoot only S&B 9mm in my Glock 17, no problems at all so far(over 2000 rounds). Very good ammo for a low price.

I tried S&B in my USP.
Well, no problem, as the USP shoots everything/anything without problems anyway.

But what I found is the red sealant, they get all over the place, including inside the firing control in the frame. I did not like this at all. So I stopped using it.

Used a lot of 9mm and some .38 Spl, .357 Mag, 9x18 Makarov, and .32 ACP. My dad shoots some of it in 7.62x25. No problems with it as far as shooting but it is a PIA with reloading. Tried it with the 9mm brass and will never try it again.
I do like it for storage though because of the sealant.

.32acp. 9mm, .45acp, and 8mm Mauser.
I like the .32 acp, the 9mm is so so in accuracy, the .45 is better and might be considered a best buy when compared to other offerings on the market.

The 8mm shot fairly well in my 8mm sporter but the bullet features a wierd stepped design that takes some getting used to.
The .323" stepped bullet, from what I understand, is designed to collapse in .318" diameter bores and is supposed to be safe to shoot in older smaller bored Mausers.

I've shot the wierd 8mm and also 6.5 Swedish and I believe 7 mauser from S&B. They all proved consistent over the chronograph and grouped well.
