What is the Service Life of the typical Sig, Glock, Beretta, S&W, Colt and others?
I understand the Sig is designed for the working life of a LEO: 20 thousand rounds. Glock touts some pistols at 150,000 rounds+.
What are the representations of the various manufacturers?

A SIG is only good for 20,000 rounds!! Good grief I'll go through that many in only a year or two on my P7M8. Guess I shouldn't buy Sigs.

Greeting's All-

Most quality self-loader's will outlast
the majority of us, given proper care!:uhoh:

Really, I don't know the correct answer; but I
definitely believe SIG's life span is far
greater than 20,000 rounds.:D

FootNote: A Smith & Wesson factory rep once
told me that the Sigma .380 was only good
for 2,500 rounds. This weapon IS NOT to be
confused with the fine semi-auto's made by
the SWISS Industry Group!
