I've got a gun range/store about a mile from me which is both a curse and a blessing so to speak. I got a call from them Friday saying they have a S&W 63 2" coming in on a trade Saturday do I want to see it? So Saturday I buy the LN 63, AND a LN Browning Baby. My question is: Can I borrow some money from someone? (joke I think) and how do you remove the slide from the Baby?

Thankyou! I remember this now. I had a Browning knockoff (maybe a a Bauer? ) years ago.

Hi Popeye, I was wondering if you could post a pic of the baby browning. I have a French Unique .25 and I want to see if they are the same so I can get a holster for this obscure little gun. Thanks, Jeff

Here's a pic off Gunbroker. It's the same gun as mine. I'm to lazy to break out the camera. For reference the slide is approx. 4 1/8" long.

Bah, humbug - I hate you. I had to pass on a Model 63 snubby and a Model 651 snubby when I was broke. Now they cost a mint!

Enjoy them!

I got the 63 for $250 and the Browning for $275. The Browning was a spur of the moment mistake that will probably go up for sale or trade. I'm mainly into .22 revolvers now. K22 6", 17 4", pre 18 4", Dan Wesson 4" and 6" and a couple autos like a S&W 41, and a little Beretta 21A.

$250 was a steal! Good for you.
