Kahr - Magazine loading problems

I have a Kahr MK9 elite and while I am having no trouble working the slide, I can't get more than two rounds into the magazine before it gets too dificult for me to load. I am having my brother load them for me, but he is bound to get tired of that soon. :D
I found a little plastic gadget that makes it a lot easier to load my Buckmark (Justin, I want that back!), but there is no button on the side of these to pull down. It there something similar to this for my Kahr?
Any ideas?

Get a HKS magazine loader that will fit your magazine (double stack, single stack, caliber). As long as the 'bullet' end will fit in, you can drill a hole and use a screw/nut to provide a stop for the base.
I did this for my wife's PT-111 and it works fine.
This website has a reasonable picture: Example (http://www.gunaccessories.com/HKS/MagazineSpeedloaders/index.asp)
You should be able to find these at most gun stores, and if you're lucky you'll be able to try a couple and find what fits (if you're really lucky, you'll find one that fits perfectly.

I saw this on some forum, maybe here. Haven't tried them, but I may order some for my wife, she has the same problem loading her kahr......tom ;)

Wolff makes all the springs for Kahr. As the gun was designed for +P+ ammunition, they are gunna be stiff!! Are they new mags?? If so, then load them up and keep them that way for a couple of days!! I, however, have no problems loading my mags, except, if I don't seat the round fully toward the back, the strong spring will cause the rounds to "spontaneously eject"!!! Weirdest damn thing I ever saw!! :what:

Cats -
Tom's link above may be good. They are rather inexpensive to order via the net. We keep a set in both in DCSA classroom and firing room for the fumble fingered of both sexes ... ;) . Each package comes with 3 sizes. Much more compact for pocket carry than other types (which you can most likely find at Cheaper Than Dirt showroom - sw corner of I-35W @ 820N.)
I'd invite ya up to "try before ya buy", but we've got a black cat named Bud that's been running the place for 7 years now and would like to keep him around for a few more ... :D

I just got a brand new 6 round mag for my MK. I loaded it up and the springs were stiff, but not overly so. Maybe you got extra stiff springs by mistake!!

One tip that I try to pass along to those having problems loading mags without using widgets is to STABILIZE THE BASE. This can be done by placing the magazine upright on the bench and getting shoulders almost directly over it. Or, bring the magazine in next bod and press base against top of belt - or belly ;) .

Didn't notice my thread got moved...
denfoote - nah, I'm just a wimp. They've been loaded up for a week now, so I'll see if they've loosened up any.
Greybeard - Actually, I'm ready to do a CHL class now that I've recieved my paperwork in the mail. I'll check your website and sign up. I promise I won't hurt your cat (he'll probably get some menacing stares though). :)
Thanks guys, I'll check this stuff out.
