PRICE CHECK #2 -- Sig

At another local gun shop, they have two Sig P239 (9mm) NIB (one with night sights).
What is a good price for a new 9mm P239 both with and without night sights?
:uhoh: :what: :scrutiny:
Plus, any comments on the P239 as a CCW would be appreciated.
Thanks...

I got my SIG 239 9mm with night sights for $399, but that is obviously an exceptional deal. The mid-$500s is more realistic for a 239 with SIGLights. :)
There is a 239 9mm in the Classifieds section of www.sigforum.com for $425. :) Comes with a couple of holsters and grips.

I carry my 239 all the time and switch between that and my USP Compact. The 239 is a champ of a gun, but, like the USPc is not really all that compact. If you want to go micro, look into the Kahrs, baby-Glocks, and the like. If you don't mind a little extra bulk for your carry gun, the 239 is excellent. They are extremely accurate, reliable, and the grip is big enough to get all of your fingers on. If you have big hands, look into Hogue wood or rubber grips. :)

I recently paid $429 for a gently-used P239 in .40. Came in the original case with the trigger lock and one extra mag - I picked up a third mag separately.
I've been carrying it for about a month, primarily in a Kramer Confidant holster shirt. When out walking I'll slip it into a Galco fanny pack, and I've packed it on the belt in a little Viking-brand belt-slide holster as a second gun to my 1911.
My P239 has been super-nice, easy to conceal and carry for extended periods. And it's been very accurate at the range which certainly makes it sweeter. :)
I live in a humid climate (Alabama) and the P239's stainless slide and alloy frame have sure helped when carrying in the Kramer holster shirt.
Hope this helps you!
