but who cares!?! Now, y'all excuse me--I need to heat this thing up!

What did you get?

My wife-in-five-months got me:
Kimber .22 conversion kit for my 1911s,
Spare magazine for above,
Chrony Master,
Roy Dunlap's "Gunsmithing."

Powderman, your wife and mine should get together for coffee!!!!

This year Deb'll have her permit, so maybe Santa will bring a S&W M&P next Christmas!

December 26, 2006, 04:06 PM
Well, the fiance got me the ABCs of Reloading and Handloader's Digest. For a gal on a limited budget she did alright. Can't wait until we are married and the budget grows a bit :neener: ! Till then, the joys of the college life.

December 26, 2006, 04:30 PM
AWESOME gift!!!

December 26, 2006, 04:48 PM
only gun stuff I got was a box of 22 ammo

December 26, 2006, 04:59 PM
Got a new holster from my brother and sister in law.

Mine is for my Glock 19.

December 26, 2006, 05:15 PM
I got a spotting scope and a couple boxes of '06. Looks like you had one heck of a Christmas though.

December 26, 2006, 05:27 PM
I got a Glock 26 that I've already done the trigger job on. Grip reduction in progress as we speak. :what: Daughter got me ammo componets and Mom got me a new CCU for a G-20. They got what they wanted and then some but I got the better end of that deal... :o

..wandering off to look for a G-20 in good shape.... :neener:

What can I say that hasn't been said? WOW!!!

December 26, 2006, 05:30 PM
... You're probably the luckiest man ever! Both your wife and your gun are "keepers"

December 26, 2006, 05:44 PM
I got all kinds of stuff but the only firearm related item came from my dad. This little .22 was made sometime in the 20's the last number in the date had an "R" stamped over it and as close as I can figure it was made by Domingo Acha y Cia. (Spain) but I'm not sure. Anyone got ideas?

Nice Thomson you got there, great Christmas present especially from the wife. Mine says I have too many guns already so I know I'll never get one from her.

December 26, 2006, 05:59 PM
I got lucky, ammo, a new shot timer and a spoting scope.

Pretty good haul.

December 26, 2006, 06:01 PM
My major gift was the birth of our miracle baby, and the gun related is our Cannon 32 gun safe the wife snuck in on me. She's a pretty good ole gal. Never complains about my purchases, but frequently tries to claim ownership on newly acquired 1911 purchases. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from TN.

Well, I got a factory nickel 1976 COLT Lawman MK-III .357 magnum with
original walnut grips and a 2" barrel.

December 26, 2006, 11:23 PM
I think your Thompson trumps the case of .45 target ammo I got. *envy* : )

December 27, 2006, 12:16 AM
I guess the CBOB I got a few weeks ago is what I got for Christmas :D

Dang man, I'm going to have to get my future ex-wife to start reading this forum. Once again it's been confirmed. If my washing machine broke tomorrow I'd have clean underware for 6 months.

Anybody want to trade for some ties ???

December 27, 2006, 12:31 AM

Plus an Andy Warhol print of QE II.

Thank you Jesus.

December 27, 2006, 12:34 AM
CZ 70 in .32 ACP. Pretty accurate and fully functional.

December 27, 2006, 12:52 AM
I finally got the family trained. Wife, mother, mother in law, sister in law, and brother in law (in law? [Wife's sister's husband. Don't much care, other than the fact that the second appellation is humorous; they're just family to me. :)]) all got me gift certificates to my favorite gun store.

With which I went and bought myself some good old Browning designed shotgun-ness. :)

December 27, 2006, 12:05 PM
my future ex-wife

ha ha ha!

December 27, 2006, 12:25 PM
I got a rock. <Charlie Brown>

December 27, 2006, 12:59 PM
My lady wife gave me a very generous gift card to buy power tools at Home Depot.

I see a table saw and a router in my future... and clamps...

December 27, 2006, 07:39 PM
i have been fortunate enough to hold one of those (yep, pre ban) here, and wow is that one awesome weapon.
that's gonna be a workout heating it up, HEAVY toy!

December 27, 2006, 08:34 PM
My soldier son on leave from Iraq gave me a new Browning High Power Practical 9mm. It does shoot very well!

Posted this on the 642 Club thread, but what the heck. My Christmas present. S & W 642 Airweight .38 SPL +P. A beaut!

December 27, 2006, 08:57 PM
A new F250 FX4 CC XLT! :neener:

A new F250 FX4 CC XLT!
6inch wins the thread. Sadly the closest gun related thing I got for Christmas was a new pair of huntin bibs. The wife has not recieved her F.O.I.D in the mail yet so there was no prospect of getting anything that goes bang from her this year. Probably for the best though as while she likes shooting her knowledge of guns is limited as to which end you dont want to be on, and I shudder at what a salesman at a gun store would send a non gun savy female home with. My dad got a new Remington 700 from my mom, and some glass, and a few boxes of ammo from me. We spent the rest of the morning sighting it in behind the house which was good enough for me.

December 27, 2006, 09:48 PM
Is that F250 in 329 or 366 calibre?

December 27, 2006, 09:53 PM
My oldest daughter gave me $80 to buy ammo. My son and D-I-L gave me $75 gift card at Best buy. My youngest daughter gave me "Ice Age II". My wife, God bless her, gave me permission to take the checkbook to the Fort Wayne gun show while she's in Hawaii.

December 27, 2006, 10:11 PM
Whats a checkbook???

December 28, 2006, 12:33 AM
You are a very blessed man. I got some money, looking to get a new handgun.

December 29, 2006, 02:16 PM
My wife bought me a Craftsman toolbox, tools, and a pistol of my choice. My Kimber 1911 with polished slide looks so nice! :) I found it used so it is before they were using the external and block safety. I am a lucky guy!

No guns. My parents gave me a $50 gift certificate for Grand Prairie Knives, which will probably turn into a Benchmade Balisong, a SpyderFly, or a Griptilian and trainer. (I'll add some cash to it--that's only fair, right?)

My wife gave me all nerd gifts this year:
--Two packs of underwear (Marked "From Santa.")
--PRIDE 30 DVD (Marked "From Kane.")
--The Tick Season One DVD (Marked "From Kane.")

From Melissa? I got a pretty cunning hat. She learned to knit from a coworker, and then knitted this thing herself. You can buy one on the internet, but she wanted to make it herself and she actually made it large enough to fit me.

Pretty cunning, ain't it? Man walks down the street wearing one of these, and people know he's not afraid of anything!

December 29, 2006, 04:59 PM
Okay all, close your eye's and you'll see what I got for christmas:( .

Nothing!!! Ziltch!!! Nada!!! Not a blÖÖdy sausage

Wifey got a new saddle for her pony and the kid's did really well too.

To all that did really well, I'm envious, na I'm happy for you.

Next year I'll max out with a Sabre defence XR41:evil: , last year I got a Sabre defence XR 15 A2 (20").

December 29, 2006, 05:24 PM

After 36 years she finally figured it out.
I'll keep her around.

December 29, 2006, 05:34 PM
Daddy got a new camo sythetic stainless Remington 700 BDL in 30.06.

Mommy and Daddy got matching Remington 1100's from an estate sale. Daddy's is a 3" magnum in 12 guage, and Mommie's is a LT (Lightweight) 20 guage.

...Love that woman!
