What is the consensus on the PCR? Does this gun live up to what I have thought CZ’s are best at- value, craftsmanship, durability, and accuracy (not match grade-rather combat grade if you )? Currently I own two CZ rifles, and I am mightily impressed with all the above traits in these two guns. I own both a 452 Trainer and a 527 Carbine in 7.62x39. Thanks for your time to respond as I certainly value the plethora of opinions and experiences.

Mine was excellent in every way, but I sold it because I prefer the cocked and locked capability of the standard 75B Compact. Decock models, like the PCR and the P-01, differ from the regular Compact in that they're lighter and that they use a decock lever. I really dislike every semi-auto DA pull for the first shot (the CZ is no worse than any other), and I found the movement of the CZ decockers to be awkward and counter-intuitive.

Other than those prejudices, I found the PCR's SA pull, reliability, accuracy, ergonomics, sights, and aesthetics to be as fine as every other CZ I've owned or handled. (I've owned nine CZ's and shot four others extensively.)

I really like my PCR for carry, because with it' alloy frame it is nuch lighter than the compact and I feel more comfortable carrying with the hammer down at half cock anyway.

Reliability has been 100% and accuracy is better than I can shoot.

Which ever you buy, you can't go wrong with CZ.

CZ rocks. My PCR can give me sub 2 inch groups at 25 yards, two hand hold standing. Zero failures. Fantastic pistol.

The PCR is a very nice pistol. It's light, ergonomic, and reasonably accurate and robust. If you want a DA/SA pistol for CCW, it's an excellent choice.

Although not a big fan of DA/SA guns, I do like the PCR and CZ's in general.

I purchased my PCR when they first came out in the U.S. and can honestly say
it's my favorite pistol bar none. I own sigs, S&W's, Kimber, Colt, Browning Hi Power and Kahr and still prefer the PCR. Never a failure of any kind, great price, great ergonomics, etc., etc.

I take back the slide back problem I had. I was not pushing up on the control. Kind of funny...I have had the gun for six months and just now figured that out.

PCR is one of the best guns for the money out there. I also have a p226 sig that I like real well.

I was a little worried about the plastic guide rod. But have had no problems with mine.
