My nephew Josh, whose parents aren't shooters, pestered his parents into buying him a BB gun for Christmas (after he shot ours off the porch a while back). Josh is ten, and he already knows the safety rules.

He got to bring his new gun over today and shoot it for the first time.

He had a great time, and I'll bet he's shooting a .22 rifle and possibly a 28 ga shotgun by this summer. :)
