Is the Dragunov-style stock now considered a "pistol grip" stock by the ATF? Seems like I heard somewhere that all "thumbhole" stocks have been so classified, but I don't know where I heard it.

yzguy May 27, 2003, 08:41 PM yeah, thumb hole stocks are pistol grips. I think this came from the wording on the new bill, but I'm pretty sure it is a pistol grip under the current AW ban. (42) PISTOL GRIP- The term `pistol grip' means a grip, a thumbhole stock, or any other characteristic that can function as a grip.
