Just got a 38/44 HD 4'' serial S 740xx. Could someone tell me what year it was made and a little about it. It's about 75% and all numbers match hasn't been reblued. price??

1949-1950 As to the value I'd guess somewhere in the $400-500 range. Just my opinion.
