I am in the market for a new gun. It must in this order:

3.5" shells
camo
28inch barrel
come with tubes.

I played with one today, I like it alot. However I don't like the price tag. Seems really high at 465$. However at 465 I get 3 tubes and camo that I want alot. I figured it would cost me at least 200 to get my 870 camo coated and buy the 3 tubes I want. A major fact is the 3.5 inch chamber. I mainly field hunt goose and I can see it being as asset.

Is it worth it, to buy one really good pump and never buy one again, or buy an "ok" auto loader that will only hold 3 inchers for slightly more? If you have any other suggestions on guns that meet my need, please post.

To the naysayers I have already search for supernovas and found few worthwhile threads.

i love my black nova with the 28" barrel, but i wish i had spent the extra dough for the supernova. the gel pads seem real nice. But another option, get just a regular nova, and get the recoil reducing mercury tube thing off ebay for about 90 dollars and your good to go.

I have a Nova and a Super Nova Tactical. I have had a Rem. and a Moss. and would not trade my Novas for 2 of each of the other brand. My Nova is 3 years old and not one speck of rust. My Rem. was 6 months and was covered using the same storage case as the Nova. My Nova also has a slug barrel with it. I don't use the recoil system and I don't think it kicks any harder than any other of my older shotguns. I paid more for the Rem. than the Nova. I love them both. http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r286/sonyman74/CIMG0144Small.jpg
