In San don't call it frisco we had Geoff Metcalf
for awhile,I wish he would come back to ksfo.
Mike Savage only mentions guns once in a while.
Rush & Sean dont seem to say much except
Sean H came out in favor on letting
Ron Dixon go (navy vet) charged with
protecting his children with an unlawfull pistol.
:cuss: :fire:
I think G Metcalf was(is) best that I have heard.
Ken Hamblin had a guest on the other night
that was talking about new concealed carry
in CO,but I was sleeping and only caught
a little of program...who do you folks
listen to (if you do that is)

I heard in this thread (http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?threadid=22031&highlight=Michael+Savage) that the loudmouth Mike Savage actually agrees with the AWB.

I have listened to him for years and never heard him say
he was for AWB.
Today he said he is eating beef to piss off peta
I'm sure if he were approached he would be
against AWB,he might not be saying anything about it
for fear it would be used by the anti's

Does Larry Pratt count?? If so he's my first choice for his No-Compromise stance on gun and freedom.
But for syndicated hosts, it's Ken Hamblin. Carries a 1911 and supports the 2nd Amendment.
Ran a parody on his show after 911 supporting the arming of airline pilots.
Don't remember all the details, but the parody was a pilot briefing passengers before take-off and related what guns they were carrying. I specifically remember the First Officer was armed with a Kimber Custom CDP with melt-down treatment in .45 ACP.:D :D

Neal Boortz is my current favorite. He strongly supports the 2nd amendment and the right of self-defense.

G. Gordon Liddy.
He's funny, smart, and polite even to people with whom he disagrees. However, his whole program is interspersed with frequent, annoying commercials for Nature's Youth and Matrix Direct and whoever's paying his bills at the moment.
I listened to Savage once and I will never listen to him again. He is a pompous loudmouth and I don't care what his poilitics are - I can't stand him.
The greaseman is very pro-gun but he's too much into bathroom humor for my tastes.

G. Gordon Liddy is a far cry from polite to people he disagrees with. I was disagreeing with him on the air when he cut the feed from the phone, went on with his tirade, then acted as though I had hung up under the assumption that I couldn't respond when he had stopped my ability to respond. And whatever is said about his loyalty and whatnot, he is still a criminal.

Larry Elder. Started in L.A., now national. Strongly pro-gun, not afraid to talk about the issues and bring in staunch 2A advocates.
I like Savage but I don't like the fact that he won't deal with the topic, saying "it's death to a talk radio host." That's gutless. Savage is a mass of contradictions.

If you listen closely, Savage has commented on the AWB. I heard on one show where he said that he went to a gun store and he was talking about how you couldn't get any good rifles anymore because of the AWB. He thought that the AWB was stupid and should be repealed. Also, I just recently heard Savage comment on how he had a CCW. In general, Savage doesn't like to talk about guns on his show because he thinks it doesn't make for good talk radio.

Gregg Knapp is big at my office; Bro. Gresham is always great, but I don't put him in the 'talking head' category. When I can, I listen to Neal Boortz and read his dailies.
Michael Savage, to me, tends to rant a bit much to the point of driving it into the ground and breaking it off. Ken Hamblin I used to listen to, but since I moved I don't receive a station he's carried on. Liddy has too much baggage and needs to lay off the testosterone patches, but he's sometimes entertaining.
Nuge is Nuge. Heard Sharmaine (Mrs. Nuge) interviewed last week on local radio. Saw them at a book signing here awhile back and got a couple of minutes wih them as well as a personalized copy of his cookbook.
In the strictly local DFW market, Russ Martin, while not a 'pundit', per se (by any stretch) is extremely 2A friendly. Almost all his crew is CHL rated and most of them, if not all, carry while on the air. Russ is sponsoring the 2nd Annual Police and Fire parade June 28th to honor all F&P officers, BTW. Big Show. Open to all LEO/FD/EMT/etc.

Michael Savage has said on his program that he owns AW'S. He doesnt come out as a strong voice for the 2A, unless Chuck Schumer opens his mouth. He hates Schumer (SHOE-MA). :fire: His main rant is BORDERS-LANGUAGE & CULTURE. Which I enjoy very much.
I think Larry Elders is the loudest advocate of the 2A I have heard so far though. I like him.

Zombie thread!
BOOM!
Head shot!
This thread is from May of 2003. Half of the radio hosts mentioned on the first page have since died of old age. :p I about had a heart attack when I saw a post from one of my least favorite posters of all time, that I had banned, with a shovel. For a second I thought he had come back. :)
