Take a look at these pix. This is my/my wife's BHP. Jess over at OnTarget Custom Gun Works (http://www.ontargetcgw.com) did some real nice work on this baby. My wife loves the BHP and I wanted to get it tricked out for her so I had Jess do some wonderful stippling plus all these goodies C&S Type II Hammer & Sear, 28 lb hammer Spring, C&S Combat Trigger, C&S Extended Slide Stop, and a C&S Extended Safety. This is one sweet looking HP and shoots just as good as it looks, for 9mm that is :D BTW, Mama likes this one a lot!

That's a lucky women you got there, make sure you remind her. Are those Esmerelda 1/2 checkered grips?

Yes, sir on both accounts. She's lucky, but I think I'm more lucky for having a gunnie spouse. :D

WOW, that is nice! I have been eyeing the Browning HP Practical's lately as my next pistol. I am fascinated by their looks. It says all business with a touch of class.

It says all business with a touch of class.

Exactly! I really think this one looks classy. It may not be tactically cool black, but it does make a statement. I'm a .45ACP guy and find it hard to get excited about a 9mm, but this one is such a nice shooter it gives me goose bumps. :D

Finally got to the range with my wife this weekend. I shot the HP in our tactical match Saturday and did very well with it. She got to shoot this afternoon. Let me say this is a really nice shooter. Here's my wife's 15yd target, 30rds off hand.

My soldier son bought me a Practical for Christmas. He knew I always wanted a High Power, but that I would never buy one for myself. I have changed the grips to some wood panels, and it looks almost exactly like the featured pics. It IS accurate! We shot it after Christmas, and it is sweet. Now, what am I going to do with these Glocks?:what: I hate it when that happens.:neener:

Give Jan a high five for me:) She is doing very well and the pistol looks like it is performing as advertised. Way to go! That was a hard one to let out of the shop. You know I have a soft spot for HPs and that is one of my personal favorites that I have done recently. Surely a keeper!

I shipped a 1911 to Deezulsmoke early this month and am awaiting the results in a month or two. Seeing stuff like this is making me 1) drool 2) get antsy like a school kid and 3) gives me warm and fuzzies that I made a good choice in 'smiths.

I don't even particularly like HP's but that is one sharp looking pistol. I may have to rethink my prejudice.

I love the HP Practical. Put some 6000 rounds through mine without a hiccup. Reliable, good looking and accurate to boot! I ended up trading it for an really nice Inglis High Power since I had the stock already. Miss my Practical!

Jess does really superb work and at a reasonable price and in a timely manner. He Bobtailed my Smith & Wesson Scandium Commander and it turned out beautimous. You can see it at www.ontargetcgw.com , select "1911 Gallery" then "Smith & Wesson Bobtail."

That gun is gorgeous. You've got me itching for a HP Practical now.
