Went out to the store today with the missus to buy her her Buckmark URX that she decided on.

While waiting for the bg check, I was browsing th eother section, and noticed an EMP sitting on the shelf.

Asked to see it... Ohmigosh, this baby fits perfectly. Handles my short stubby fingers just fine, everything easy to reach, I'm in love. Time to start saving bottlecaps. Or was it cans? I can never remember...

Ah, I see where I was misleading...

No, my W was waiting on her background check to get her buckmark... I'm going to have to cogitate before I buy an EMP... I think I want to get a FS 1911 first, work on some marksmanship with mine and her 22, and then look at a carry piece like the EMP...

But dang! Gotta start saving the pennies...

It is a sweet pistol for sure and that little bit of size difference makes a fair amount of difference concealing. I want one in .45 GAP, if they ever make them. They tried once. I don't know what happened. .40 would be sweet too. I liked the EMP so much I got it in the 9MM anyway. The 9MM shoots ever so nice. Controlability is awesome. I can run off 9 rounds like a full auto almost and stay on target easily. (non +P anyway, I have not shot any yet.) I am not a big nine fan, but this pistol had me scrounging up all my nine components and ordering more. (1000 Zero 125 Gr. JHP's because it shot the 124 Gr. Golden Sabers so well!) I sorted through 2 thousand or so range pickups I had been saving up and ended up with about 1500 + Fed cases. The folks waiting for the 4 or 5 inch models they hope SA makes may have the right idea for a range gun. :)

They wanted 1099 for it OTD, I have no idea what the MSRP is, but I'm sure it's on springfields site...
