Hello everyone, it's been a while. I have a question about some .38 ammo, I was given some ammo with nickle cases and what appears to be an xtp bullet, but I'm not sure. On the back of the case the word "Impact"is where the brand of ammo usually is, on the left side of the primer is the number "3", on the right is the letter "D", below the primer is ".38 spcl +p".Does anyone know anything about this ammo? Your help is greatly appreciated.

THANK YOU

3-D used to make reloaded practice ammo
using fired case's with mixed head stamps.
This along with using cast bullets was done
to keep costs down while providing decent
practice ammo.I remember the ammo was
smokey and dirty but accurate enough for
practice.I never did see much of it loaded
with hollowpoints in the shop i worked a.
the few i did see looked like XTP hp's.

Impact was 3D's brand of new ammunition. Seemed ok, the little I had.
