I got a friend that hangs out on dog breeder forums because he breeds dogs. He said they are always getting attacked by the PETA people. He said that they would talk about how terribel breeding was and that all animals should be spayed and neutered. With that kind of ideas sounds like they are more against animal than for them.

There was just a piece on Scarborough Country yesterday about PETA and their links to the Earth Liberation Front, a home-grown terrorist org. Seems PETA is an active contributor of money for this groups which is responsible for over $45mil in damages so far.

I wish PETA would take some of their own advice and neuter their own members. Now the thought of them breeding and having litters of little peta critters is a very repulsive thought to me.

It just so happens that I have a freezer full....er...........ehhhh half a freezer of moose meat. It good with mashed potatoes, wild rice, veggies of your choice and of course the salad w/bleu cheese dressing. Moose................it's what's for dinner.:neener: :neener:

After all, in today's society it's important to be an equal opportunity predator. I try to only discriminate against the truly nasty tasting animals (like fox).

Current freezer contents:

1/2 moose
1/4 caribou (getting low, gotta go stock up soon!)
3 Black Bear roasts (also getting low, better keep an eye out)
14 chickens
90 lbs halibut
50 lbs salmon of various sorts
12 lbs burbot
15 lbs pork chops/roasts
2 loaves of bread
2 gallons of milk

vegetables come from the garden (via a Jar in the winter).

I guess I'll have to refuse consent to search when PETA comes a callin!

I went out to eat and we were admonished for ordering a steak. The young lady whom approached our table was in a leather skirt, leather jacket...

Me- "Darlin', you do realize that leather comes from critters, don't you? Way I figure it you got two choices, leave me and my lady friend alone--or strip out of those clothes here and now so your not a hypocrite". Lady friend quips " don't ruin my appetite, sugar--you need a skinning knife to get out of them leathers?".

She left. We had a hard time keeping from laughing.

I too love animals. Yesterday I had an afair with a pig.:eek:
After 8 hrs in a brining solution of water, apple cider, salt, and brown sugar, I rinsed the rack of ribs off, blotted it dry, rubbed it with a dry rub (My own blend), then placed the rack of ribs in my side box smoker for 6 hrs keeping the temp at 200 deg. Then for another two hrs, I moped the ribs with BBQ sauce (My own creation). I used only natural Oak, Hickery, and Mesquite. So dont tell me I don't love animals.
