Happy new year!
Does anyone know where I can find a handy chart listing the model numbers and frame size/ letter for Smith and Wesson revolvers? Particularly the model 25. Thank you.

Sorry, don't know about a chart, but model 25's are built on S&W "N" frame, same as their .44 magnums (and others). This was their largest frame size until the advent of the fairly recent "X" (I think) size for their .500 and .460 magnums.

All of the model 25's were built on Smith & Wesson's NT frame (44 Frame/Target Sights) but within that designation there were many versions in two calibers; .45 ACP and .45 Colt. Also blued and nickel plated high carbon steel or stainless.
I recommend you buy a copy of a book; Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson, as a 3rd. Edition is about to be marketed. Therein you find everything you want to know, and in addition a lot more.
