After doing some internet searching for a good gun forum, this looks like "the one."

My interest in guns has been renewed. I was very active in my youth buying guns and shooting guns, which peaked during college and a few years after. I sold most of them for various reasons.

But I got bit by the gun bug again and wanted to buy a "hi-tech" auto-loader. After doing a lot of research I settled on the USP .45. I haven't even owned the gun one week, but I find myself during my free time perusing the internet looking for accessories, ammo, hi-caps, etc. I put 40 rounds through it last weekend with my Dad.

I love this gun. The accuracy is very decent, it was printing some very tight groups from about 50 or 60 feet. I love the heft and feel of the gun, and think the mag realase is a brilliant idea.

I still haven't shot it double action, and don't know if I really need to.

The one thing I haven't gotten used to is the safety lever. I suppose I will soon.

I bought a Bianchi Accumold 7510 (Minimalist II) for it. Haven't received it yet. Anyone have one of these?

Hey Jeff.

This is about the best general gun forum.

If you ever want some very HK specific info, check out HKPRO.com. But this place is better for everything else.

Before you post, it's often a good deal to try the "search" button. Some topics have been done to death.

Thanks, all.

I have done some searches already and have gotten some good information. I've also been to HKPro, and will probably join there soon.

Cheers.

i have the USP 45.
you will find more response here than in hkpro. it seems that people there do not own USP, but rather they all have MP5's or something.

i get more replies to my USP questions here than in hkpro. go figure.

You're right about two things: this forum is The One, and there's no reason to shoot that USP in DA.

Welcome on board, Toby.

What's your newest gun?

That would be a lovely customized CZ PCR.

Next in the hopper will be a risky one... a new FNP9. I am feeling the need for new plastic!
