does anyone know where I can find a dragunov style stock for my sks that is wooden??

There are lots of vendors to choose from, also try ebay. Keep in mind it you add a dragunov stock to your sks, it will make it harder to clean/break down unless you do some cutting to the new stock. It was this that pushed me to go with the T6

There isnt currently a wood dragunov style stock made for the SKS. There is a thumbhole stock made for the SKS M or SKS D, but it will only fit SKS's with AK47 style mags. Your out of luck.

Oops I misread your post I thought you were referring to the original being wooden,(which it obviously would be) sorry.

62u,you may want to search this board for a good overview of the sks,and google sks for specialized sks sites.

You don't. The SKS that used Ak47 mags was a limited run done by the Norinco company and are no longer imported. Trust me, aside from swapping out the stock for maybe a Tapco T6 stock, the SKS is in the best configuration it can be.

Is there a difference between an AK mag and a 30 round mag for the SKS. I know the 30 rounder has to be modified to work
