Can someone point me to a "cheap ammo" thread?

I have tried using the search function repeatedly, but I keep getting a "site is not responding" message. I need to find cheap target 45 acp ammo online. Natchez has the cheapest I have found, but their site is down as well right now. I am looking to buy between 1000 and 2000 rounds at a time. I am not interested in reloading so please dont go there. I have checked natchezss, midway usa, the sportsmansguide, and a few other places but no place seems to be able to beat natchezss price of 9.99 for a box of 45 acp, however I figure maybe someplace will sell me bulk ammo around that price, since I would like to order at some point today and I cant wait for the natchezss website to come back online.
Thanks!

I'm finding three brands/sources for about the same price right now (excluding steel-cased Wolf and such):
Sellier & Bellot from cheaperthandirt - $11/50 - http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/AMM507-3588-208.html
Winchester White Box from Wal-Mart - I think it was ~$11/50 last time I bought some
Aguila from gunbroker (no one else seems to have this in stock), breaks down to $11/50 -

I haven't checked Natchez lately and as you say they're down right now.

1. "Cheap ammo" is a misnomer, at least as compared with just six months ago. There is no "cheap ammo" any more.
2. $9.99 per box of 50, unfortunately, is a good price these days...if it is decent ammo. Six months ago, at the gun show, I bought Remington Green Box for $85/500 out the door ($8.50/box if you buy ten). These days, the same ammo is $13.50/box, ($135/500) even if you buy ten. I cannot find Gun Show reloads for $85/500. I have started looking into reloading, and at the component prices I'm seeing, I wonder how I can reload for that price. However, I think it's only going up from here...
3. "American Ammuntion", otherwise known as A-Merc, is some of the worst ammo widely available. Do a search for A-Merc and you will find very few positive responses. I bought 500 rounds about two years ago, and had so many failures I thought my Para had gone bad. Then I started examining individual rounds...bullets seated off-center, bulged cases, inconsistent OAL...
Last time I saw someone at the gun show selling A-Merc he did not have any buyers. I think the word is out.

my suggestion is to get them on the phone, this time of year they will be very glad to discuss your order. if you dont have their 800 number, call Midway and ask them. i hear they and Natchez are in cahoots.
and watch shipping charges. a case of .45 weighs about 50 pounds, and some shippers still consider loaded ammo as hazardous material. anything to get an extra buck from you.

Give these guys a call http://www.tsgunsandammo.com/index.html
I picked up 1000 rounds at the last gun show from them for $180 OTD
I'm not sure how much it would be for shipping but its worth a shot
