Everything about the gun looks and feels 100% and it still has the manufacturers packing grease on it. He's asking for a price of about US$654 and is prepared to throw in a free sling and shotshell belt.
Should I fork out the cash and take this baby home?

Anyone here ever shot CZ shotguns before? Should I just trust the brand name for quality and get this gun?

The link you posted looks to be a used commie CZ. Other than it being bfu I have no info.
If you looked at a new CZ it's made in Turkey. IMO, It's not worth buying. Id rather buy a good pump than a crappy double.

Current CZ shotguns are made by Huglu Arms in Turkey and branded with the CZ name. They have a mixed reputation on quality, but CZ-USA will fix them if they break. I wouldn't buy one for heavy clay shooting, but they're fine for hunting.
I can't help you with the older CZ shotguns. I don't know anything about them.

Love my CZ/Huglu "Bobwhite" 28 gauge side x side. Most of the ones I've heard of with problems are Huglu's before CZ established their quality control. Over/unders and single trigger models seem to give more problems than the SXS's with double triggers.

I've got two ringnecks
They are fine, not as fine as the $3000 dollar guns, but a damn site better than the $300 ones
They are made by Huglu in Turkey
They are not sidelocks BTW, they are boxlocks with a side cover. no real difference, but the ad you linked to is incorrect.
That price range of $650 seems correct
You'll like it, I like mine.
