Sokol Custom AMT Backup

A local shop has an AMT Backup with "Sokol Custom" engraved on the side. I guess he's a well thought of 'smith, but what would you do to a Backup? I was gonna get one, but was told by a bunch of people not to bother. Interesting that someone would have one of these smithed. It still has no sights and the DAO trigger is still heavy. It just confuses me...:confused:

I've heard mixed reviews of the AMT's, and that the new(er) ones are better then the original run.
As for a custom smith working on them (and what they may have had done)

If your that curious as to what may have been done, try giving him a call and asking if he's worked on em' and if so, what he (typicaly) does to them
