The last one is the gun called the BUL Impact, but formerly sold under the Charles Daly Double Action name. Recently discontinued by CD.

No offense to homosexuals but can you say "Gay Gun"?

By the by...are those PLASTIC triggers on those 1911 clones???
I was just thinking to myself today, "You know what I want? I want a 1911 with a plastic trigger.":what:

Hey, whats the website? IM in the market for a M5.
Nevermind. Found it.
Charles Daly is the distributer listed. Too bad they gotta personalize the weapon before its released for sale.
Word on 1911forum.com is July before they are available.

WE had one of the CD Hot Pink ones with a S-S slide at the shop, someone broke in and stole it the other night and it's color got him caught within a day. The boss might have given it to him to get rid of it as it stayed there for months on end. He took it in on trade.
I actually like the stars and stripes model. The other one looks like one of those toys you get with those little boxes of Japanese candy. My Kimber on Bul frame was my first handgun. Shoots great.

But, hey, guys! How could anything with those colors be considered "threatening"? They'd be just the thing for soccer moms and those in ********** and suchlike places who don't want to scare anybody with an evil black gun!
If Glocks and the AK stuff had been painted up like that, we wouldn't have an Assault Weapons ban, and we wouldn't have had all that yammer about undetectable handguns going through airport security!
Heck, they're just going another step forward with the "LadySmith" concept...
Just the thing for rice-rocket riders. Now you can have your gun match the color scheme on your Ninja and fullface helmet (while you squid around in your shorts, wifebeater shirt, and flipflops).

being an import car enthusast along with guns....that offends me :neener: i would never be caught with one of those guns by choice. but i also believe in the sleeper look for any and all cars.... :D
May 30, 2003, 12:25 PM
Sometime back (on TFL, I think?), we had a "what guns go with what car" thread. Might be time to revive that one, now that we've seen these pieces of ... uh ... "artistry." :D

Can I get my HD 12 gauge in purple and green? I'd like it if the BG was distracted by laughter to give me an extra second or two for a good clean shot.

Seriously, I would love to get one of these colorful Bul Transmark pistols - the gaudier the better. If I had one, I would use it as my CCW, so when a would-be criminal intends to do me harm I'd pull it out. He'll look at it, pause for a second wondering what the hell it is, and then hear "Boom"...

He'll look at it, pause for a second wondering what the hell it is, and then hear "Boom"... ''Distractive carry'' ...... hmmmm ...... could be useful!!!!:D

In that kind of situation, you need every "tactical" advantage you can get...:)

Can you say "pink Kel-Tek"??
There is a Gay gun rights group out there, the name of which escapes me at the present moment, who are our greatest allies in that ofttimes liberal, socialist, and anti-gun community!!
The fact that a gun company of any size is starting to cater to Gays is a good thing!! It means that group, who's name I still can't remember, is starting to have an effect!!!
Again I meant no offense but when I saw those guns images of Christopher Lowel and Liberace danced through my head. ;)

Guns should look like guns not toys. Especially for those of you that have an aversion to gun locks.
Its not too hard to train kids not to touch guns without adult supervision unless they look like toys.

While surfnusa has a point... the humer is too much to bear...
June 3, 2003, 10:24 AM
Some of those are even too gaudy for Liberace...and I have been to the Liberace Museum in Las Vegas.

While I personally would not care for a pistol such as those posted, I think it is great that a manufacturer is trying to expand the market. If it puts more folks on our side who cares what color their pistol is...
