Have they resolved the issues on the new PM9 models? I understand they tried a quick fix with a pin that holds the trigger pin, is that correct?

Mine has a pin through the trigger pin, but it's just a pin in the frame, nothing like the blemish in your picture.
My gun is about 5 months old.

I'd like to hear about newer models myself.

I have TWO pm9's one is in the 3k serial # range and is flawless has no marks what so ever.
The slide is nicley finished there are no machine marks anywhere and it has a frosted like finish. I put 300rds through it then put it in the safe.

My second is the one I pocketcarry daily it has Novak nitesites and is in serial #1k range and also does not have any of the above flaws, There is a very noticeable difference in slide finish though, This piece shows some faint mill marks in the rear serations and is just plain stainless with out the frosted like finish...

The 3K sounds like it has a hard chrome type finish of the top of the stainless slide while the 1K one sounds like it does not.

It sounds like neither of your guns have the pin to hold the trigger pin in. Perhaps you've just been lucky, or maybe the 3K model was fixed without the pin and you have just been lucky with the 1K model??? I think I'm gonna fire of an email to Kahr one of these days here and see what's up.

Both my pm's have a trigger pin through the bottom of the frame into the trigger pin, But both have a very neat little hole with a small pin. Hardly noticable that there is a pin there on both pieces.

That pic above is real ugly, looks like the frame is splitting and the crack filled with epoxy, somethig is definatly wrong and the piece should never have left the factory like that, if in fact it did leave that way.

I am not saying that pic and the story is not authentic, But I do see and read alot of things on the interenet that make you go HUMMM....

I ordered a PM9 with factory night sights and had to wait a few weeks for dealer to get one in. Have had it for about 2 months now. You guys made me get out the flashlight and magnifying glass! I see no imperfections in my "pin on pin" - or otherwise. :)

I now have close to 1400 rounds through my PM9. Still no problems with the frame. I did finally replace the recoil spring and it's make quite a difference in what the gun will feed. Not as picky as it used to be about hollow-points.

I may sound snobbish, but the "bugs" are why I opted for the tried and true stainless MK9 Elite!!!!! I beta tested the Taurus PT-145. Never again!! I'll let you guys go through the pain this time!! :neener:
