Does anyone use lead bullets for the M1 Carbine? Gas checked? Or does the gun require jacketed bullets only? I plan to use it to kill pieces of paper only.
If lead is ok, does anyone have a commercial source? LeadHead doesn't have those lightweight .308 bullets on their website. That's where I usually get my .308 and 6.5mm lead gas-checked bullets.
I don't actually have a M1 Carbine, just thinking about CMP's upcoming offering.
