The Indy 1500 is happening Jan 12, 13, and 14. Is anybody going? I should be there midday on Saturday for a couple hours. In Indiana.

Going Saturday with MPFreeman. I'll be there around 1 or so. My nephew has a basketball game at 11 am so Matt won't be there until 2:00. Hopefully a nephew or two can come.

O.K., so what did everybody get?

I got a couple of STAG stripped lowers, a stainless Ruger 22/45, and finally found a deal on a Mauser 2000, a hole in my Mauser collection, in .30-'06, 1,000 round of .45 acp, and a few books. My bro got a couple of AKs and two Superior Arms stripped lowers.

I got there a little early Fri. and had to stand in line.It was worth the wait.I love to look.Ended up with a Mosin M-38 to go with a M-44 that I already had.Although the show beats the heck out of my towns (Ft. Wayne) show I thought they had a little more flea market type stuff than usual. It was still worth the drive.Almost bought the new Taurus 1911 but a guy next to me bought it while I was holding it. I should have got it the first or second time I looked at it , but I was being stubborn for a $20 difference. The guy just kept me from having to beg forgiveness from the wife. I'll sneak one in the safe at a latter date.
