Check out this thread (http://www.democraticunderground.com/cgi-bin/duforum/duboard.cgi?az=show_thread&om=7686&forum=DCForumID70&omm=0)

Scroll down to mine (MicroBalrog) post. I'm too left-wing for THR and too freedom-loving for DU.:fire: :fire:

Apparently, they wouldn't know a good rant when they saw one. Just think of what LawDog or George Hill or DrRob could do, in comparison!

MicroBalrog

***Do NOT hotlink to DU!!!***
Their Admin checks the From: log to see where people are getting links from, and thats when they start trolling the linking board (like they've done to AR15.com, AK-47.net and FreeRepublic.com). Could a mod please make MicroBalrog's link inactive so people have to copy & paste it.

ya know... getting banned from Democratic Underground seems to me a penalty somewhat on par with being forbidden to ever, ever swim in the sewage treatment ponds outside of town. :)

That said... let's make sure this doesn't turn into a "pile on the local Democrat" thread, eh? High Road and all that.

Oh yeah.. they banned you for mentioning Unintended Consequences? Or did I miss something there?

-K

PS... Ousting Saddam as "Dubya Dubya II"... that's cute. :) They may [removing moderator hat] be political nutcases[/putting it back on] but ya sure can't say they ain't creative. :)

PPS.. Oh yeah... I think if we're gonna get a DU influx from their staff checking "from" logs, what's done is done at this point. If they can play nice like everyone else, more the merrier I guess. If they can't well... that's what IP banning is for I guess.

Ok, I was off trolling the DU board. Couldn't resist I guess...

:D

I'm trying to sound as stupid as I possibly can, but they don't seem to be noticing

I guess I'm fitting right in hahahahaha

You'll always have us. Democrats suck... but Republicans blow anyways. ;)

It's actually amusing to scroll around DU. They accuse us of EXACTLY the same things we accuse them of, like not listening to "facts" that don't fit our agenda, and so forth.

Ah, the hall of smoke and mirrors that we live in.....

We should follow Tom Gresham's thinking on the whole Democrat/Republican angle. Lots of gun owners are Democrats, so lets not alienate them, by lumping them in with the idiot politicians.

I'm sure there's more than a few Dems here on THR, right? I don't see them as idiots, or having an IQ of 12. If you're for gun rights, then you are my friend.

Democrat OR Republican - you would not have my respect if you could NOT get banned from DemocraticUnderground :)

Seriously, though, you should try MsMagazine.com. There, arguments are over who's better, Lenin or Stalin.

I'm a registered Democrat.

But I'm tearing them apart from the inside out.

Democrats in Pennsylvania aren't all bad. Lots of Pro-life, Pro-Second Ammendment here. The only ones in the country:uhoh: .

Hmmm ... not to doubt you too much, Mr. Balrog, but how can a "pro-gun majority" survive if a post such as yours gets you banned?
*shrug*

No thanks. I don't care if my political stance swings left of Lenin, I'll not frequent a board such as that.

wow that's quite the gayest errornet site i've ever seen

That's quite insulting to gays...if I were gay, I wouldn't want to be used as an adjective to describe a Democrap messageboard!

Another member on this board here took his gay coworker to the range and one of them will be picking up either a .357Mag or .44Mag soon.

Skunk is correct. Gun owners come in all colors, ethnic backgrounds, heterosexual and gay, and religions. Let's not alienate any of them. Everyone should all feel welcome here.

DANG! Balrog how much spare time do you have that you can try to stir up so many ****storms with those people?!?

I saw their "Public Safety" forum. Keep up the good work:cool:

"DU has a policy of removing right wing rants and ending the user's accounts. It's in the terms of service when you sign up. It says that this site is for people of democratic and liberal beliefs, and if you think bush should win, stay the hell off (paraphrased)."

Nice.

To the DU and not MB:

I decided to weigh in on another thread over there, someone posted a link to an accidental hunting death, pointing out that the child was killed "by a gun".

Curious to see if I get well-reasoned responses, no response, or a bunch of bliss-ninny howling.

Essentially, the Democrats are out of touch with anyone outside of the major metropolitan areas that they cater to for votes. It never occurs to them that anyone in their party may actually use and value their 2nd Amendment rights and would not compromise them.

Partisan politics is simply a method of control. If they keep the peasantry squabbling over donkeys and elephants, they will not notice their loss of both freedom and property. The one party/ two faction system is an orchestrated distration. Both sides will through ignorance or design readily take our freedoms while confiscating our property through taxes or stagnant wages. They both have the same aim: the enslavement of America. :fire:

I have a feeling that some people post 'controversial' or contrary positions just because they want the attention.
