Would anyone use these legs to make a reloading bench for a Dillion 550 with a strong mount? I am thinking about putting plywood for a top.

Are these sheet metal legs?

Thats what I have. I reinforced them with 2X4s and bolted the whole thing to the wall to stiffen it up. Works fine.

They look very similar to legs to I made from my L-N-L. I used oak butcher block for the top and ran threaded rod all the way through the press down to the bench. Very stable.

They are hard to see but doesn't look to bad. It doesn't take much just use a sturdy top and bracing to keep out the shake. I built a work bench in my garage and converted half of it for reloading when I started.

I was at Sam's Club today and they had a bench that would be perfect for reloading. It had metal leggs, butcher block top. peg board back, two drawers and a light on top. It was very strudy and came with a stool. They were asking $198.

I just used 4x4's for legs, 2x6's for a top and covered it all with a piece of hardboard to smooth out the surface, then added some shelfs.

Can't even feel the thing move when I use the Dillion 550 on the strong mount.
