I just wanted to ask if anyone else noticed what looked like a Devel pistol ON the Mr. and Mrs. Smith DVD. I don't know if it was in the movie, but it was actually on the DVD itself.

If you don't recall, it was a movie from a few years ago, featuring Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Vince Vaughn, etc.

Googled it, just looks like a 1911 with a compensator.

are you referring to the pistol Pitt used when he and Jolie were shooting at each other?i think that was supressed, not comp'd...

I don't know what you found on the net, but I'm talking about a little Officer-sized 1911 with the rear sights moved forward, compensator cuts in the top of the slide, and wierdest of all, a second "trigger guard" for the middle finger. Like I said, I didn't see this IN the movie. It's on the disc itself.

Here are some I found, personal collection of Wayne Novak. I always thought the Devel's were just based on SW 39's. Didn't realize he worked on 1911's also.
