Do you knock it out left to right, right to left, or doesn't it matter? Mine came with a really nice Lyman peep sight, and the rear open sight is not the fold down kind, so in order to use the peep without obstruction of view, I need to remove the open sight. Thanks.


PS: What do you call that piece of metal that you put in the dovetail after you remove the rear sight?

remove left to right. It is called a slot blank.
