I thought that I posted this thread topic already, but can't find it. 2nd try.

I have a standard old Ithaca model 37 with a sight bead at the end of the barrel. Did ALL of the old ones come with the Raybar sight or just some and if they all did, is there any value in removing the sight bead that I currently have and getting a Raybar sight put back on it? Thanks.

Unless you really feel the need for the glowing red sight on the end of the barrel, why change? Shotgun beads are only there as an aide. You point the shotgun rather than aim it. I never notice the bead when I am shooting, all focus is on the target. If the gun fits, that is all you need.

Raybars started in 1955.
