People in Barbershop when men come in with guns for a holdup..... "customer" pulls his gun, shoots robbers and they flee...... robbers caught at hospital with gunshot wounds..... Owner says "We probably be in here trapped, tied up, kidnapped, dead or something." if not for the customer.......

THEN....... Owner says....... A sign at the shop bans certain activity and now Al-Khatib plans to add guns to the list, "If you come in here with a gun you will be prosecuted and we're going to try to get you locked for a long time." :barf: :barf: :barf:

What kind of mentality is that?!?!?!?!?! A customer just saved your LIFE and now you are going to BAN people from carrying in your store?!?!?!?!?!?

Some people never learn......

I'm sure the robbers will pay attention to that sign and decide to rob someplace else that allows people to carry weapons. :rolleyes:

I just sent this to WIS news.

"I just read the article on your web site about the attempted hold up at the barber shop yesterday. What disturbs me is Latif Al-Khatib attitude here. A customer SAVED his life with a gun. Does he think the hold up men care what he posts outside his shop? Sure they do, now they KNOW no one is carrying a gun in his shop, and next time his quote will be the truth, "We probably be in here trapped, tied up, kidnapped, dead or something."
I think Mr. Latif Al-Khatib needs to rethink his policy change."


Just hope Mr. Al-Khatib gets the message.

One thing I have noticed though. No one has said if the customer was a CWP holder or just another thug (that's kind of what hangs out on that side of town) with a gun. Lots of gang activity on that side of town.

Good point about whether the "good guy" had a legal CWP. I'm leaning towards no, but hopefully I'll be wrong.
