I was just thinking about checking my wheels that I have not looked at in a while and thought I should run a patch with some oil down some of the tubes.
Has anyone every had any problems with Remoil on any Nickel guns ?

Is it safe to use Remoil on Nickel plated guns ?
I'm guessing yes, but I just wanted to be sure.

...doesn't say anything about it "not" being safe for nickel finishes...i don't have a nickel gun right now but i use remoil and would use it on my gun...:)

I've read the product and website info as well.
It makes no mention of Nickel.
I was just hoping someone knew a little bit more.

I've used it for years on my nickel-plated Detective Special for decades without a problem.

Rem Oil if fine on nickel-plated guns. Any good gun oil will work fine. Avoid Hoppes No. 9 on nickel...it will dis-color it. If you must use it for thorough cleaning, wipe every bit of it off and re-coat with a good gun oil. My preference is CLP.

Why don't you just send me one of those nice Nickel Pythons and I'll try some of my Remoil on it and report back to you in 5 or 10 years to let you know how it held up. :D
