Can you refinish an S&W 637? Or any Airweight?

Question folks, I have an S&W Airweight 637. I'm thinking of sending it to Gemini Customs for action work to lighten/smooth the trigger pull. In DA it must be a 20lb pull! Anyway, I love their bead blast finish but the Airweight is made of aluminum or something lightweight so I'm wondering, can it be refinished? Or bead blasted?

Have any of you refinished your 637's or 642?

Any insight would be appreciated....

God Bless
Gideon

I have a 642 refinished once by the factory and once in Birdsong Black T. Both times it looked good. The Black T covers both the stainless and the aluminum parts.

I had the same problem with my airweight and replaced the spings with a reduced power set from "Wolff Spings". www.gunsprings.com
