Has anyone compared WWB HP 230 gr. to the premium HP's? Are they a no no for HD and/or a CCW load? If there is a link to the gelitian block test with them could you please post it?

I too would love to hear some feedback on these. I bought some for my PT 145, but have not had the chance to shoot them yet.

I have read that they are a good bullet. Some even went as far as stating they are a similar design as the Silver Tip, but do not have the same coating as the ST. I have also read they do not have the same quality control as "premium" ammo.

A while back there was someone who posted gelatin block pics. I don't remember but it seems to be pretty good.
As for reliability, I've fired a bunch of these from my HK's, they all perfect.

I have one .45 that loves the stuff. Shoots exacty to POA, no failures in more rounds than I can recall, and unlike the Remington bulk HPs the muzzle flash isn't excessive. If it works in your gun go with it.

The quality control is probably the same as WWB FMJ,which is basically the standard for 230 grain ball ammo.

The hollowpoint design is not as advanced as the premium lines, but if "they all fall to hardball" then this basic hollowpoint is certainly no worse than the FMJ.

I carry this load in my Kimber.
