i decided to use some unproductive time, and load some 9mm. My son decided to come in and sit with me, and I put on some big band on the computer speakers. 120 rounds, (1.5 hours on my single stage), and a bunch of Benny Goodman, Woody Herman, Phil Harris, Spike Jones, and The Andrews Sisters made for a pleasant afternoon.
BTW, he's six, and LOVES Phil Harris!
LIEberals would scream at the sight we presented.:neener:

You should have put"PRICELESS" on the post! You're bringing him up right! Just like I did with my son, he's now 23, married and an Iraq, Afghanistan Army vet! And he can often outshoot me! Gotta be his teacher??:scrutiny: :D

My son 5 yrs and daugter 3 yrs both love to reload with me. I found a used RCBS JR2 that I set up just for decapping. The two of them will sit for hour or so having fun on it.It is a great way to spend time, teach them at an early age and they feel they are doing something helpful. As the last post wrote, it is Priceless.

Way to go! I am introducing my 6 yr old grandson to guns and reloading as he shows interest in "helping" me at my work/reloading bench, clean a pistol, etc. Seems to be working. Yesterday when he was visiting us, he asked if we could go out and work in the garage. Of course we did and enjoyed some quality time together, just piddling around, working the handles on reloading presses, explaining the different presses and their uses. A 6 year old can ask lots of questions! Ever since reading The Old Man and The Boy by Robert Ruark, I have wanted to be the grandfather and teach a grandson to safely enjoy shooting sports.

Good shooting and be safe.

A great story armoredman. Reminds me of some the times my son and I had at the bench. Now he's 32 and living about 700 miles away. :(
