2K5Adam thief, moderaters lock if you may. It doesn't change the fact that I was ripped off on this board and all should know. Also the managment will release your personal info to any one it seems. If this gets me kicked off this board so be it. We play by the rules and so should everone else. God Bless!

All should know, yes. I think most of us do by now. Ripped off on this board? Are you saying that's the board's fault? Please clarify.

Fact is, the person who ripped you off has been caught, and on top of that, banned from this board. We can't do much more than that.
Also the managment will release your personal info to any one it seems.
Clarify. We don't even have your personal information.

Don't think you will be able to get the gun back, unless the business (CCA?) agrees to let you have it. There is an old saying in the law that "A thief passes no title." What this means is that even if you were a BonaFide Purchaser for Value ( a BFP), with no knowledge of the theft, you have no title or ownership rights in the property (the gun) as against the original owner, CCA. Thier ownership rights trump yours, because you got no ownership rights from the thief, because he got no ownership rights.

I am sure of this because of a transaction I had many years ago. I am one of that very small minority, a gun rights trial lawyer. I represented a client that had been arrested for DWI and Unlawfully Carrying a Weapon (UCW). The deal that was cut with the prosecutor was that the client would plead guilty to the lesser offense (the UCW) and the DWI would be dropped. The gun (Browning Hi-Power) was to go to me as part of my fee. Judge signed the order, and I took the order to the police station and picked up "my" new gun. A few months later, a phone call came in from a guy that said "I understand that you have my gun". Turns out the gun was stolen. I had to get the gun back from a friend that I had sold it to, giving him a gun of my own, and give the Hi-Power back to the rightful owner. All because "A thief passes no title".

Good luck. Like I posted before, I'd call in the Feds. More of a chance that the judge will order restitution, even if he goes to prison.
