You got that backwards, mate. The overdub is in French; that was originally an American's stunt.

The story I recall hearing about this one is that he did it on a dare with a friend. He put the buck lure on himself, instead of a nearby object, and it angered the deer: the buck thought it was a territorial challenge. The hunter is damn lucky he didn't get skewered on those antlers!

It'd have been a good idea to bring a sizeable knife with him, on his belt/accessible. He could've probably gotten a couple good stabs in around the heart/lungs area anyway! :P

That was hilarious, other posts are correct however it is a stunt by an American. Wonder what "product" he used. If it got the buck that ornery I would like to have some about 75 yards off my stand next season.

I remember this. This Bozo and his wife were selling videos of various animal attacks, sending some to shows like MaxX, etc.

Turns out this attack was provoked for the camera, along with a few others.
