I take and keep pictures on my cell my phone of all my firearms. Why ? Oh.. I don't know, maybe I just like the thought of sort of having them all along with me all the time in sprirt. Some people carry pictures of their kids.. well I don't have any kids, so I have cell phone snaps of my girl and my guns :p
But my cell pics stink too.

Meet the Fiala Family: (Lto R) Fiala Mdl.1920; Hi-Standard Mdl. B; Hartford Arms Mdl. 1925 (SA), and Hartford Arms (SS) - ALL 22rfs.

And all are from the 1920s and '30s. They are all interconnected in various ways: same designer on some, one company purchased by the other, etc. LONG, interesting histories, too long to go into here. They were all manufactured in rather limited quantities, especially compared to modern standards.

The Fiala is namedd after a noted Explorer, Adventurer, Army Officer of the era: Anthony Fiala. The Hartford named after a city in Connecticut. The Hi-Standard generically named to represent their standards of business.

The Fiala is a single-shot, mag-fed, 10-shot that must be hand cycled after each shot. The two guns in center are semi-autos, and the Hartford on right is a single-shot, no mag.

Though difficult to find, and fairly expensive in some configurations, they are a joy to me to collect: Fiala Arms & Equipment Co. of New Haven, CT, Model 1920. ---45broomhandle

Next photo shows the epitome of the Fiala Model 1920: the three-barrel set with detachable walnut stock, in fitted case. Barrels are: 20" with wooden forestock; 7 1/2", and the 3" snubby. All should have matching serial numbers.
