Cheque's in the mail...

So a good friend of mine with a FFL just received a consignment of two Springfield Armory pistols, a Champion and a GI .45. The Champion had a price I couldn't pass up, so... we all know where that ends. So, pending purchase permit, I'm now the proud owner of a Champion in .45.

Anything special about these beasties I should know?
