Beretta Tomcat ammo options

I recently purchased a .32 Tomcat for a ccw. I realize the .32 is not the optimal self defense caliber, but the Tomcat is relatively light, has decent sights, good ergonomics, and a manual safety. I am not a big guy, and I can conceal the Beretta well. I also have a Glock 19 that I'll use in the winter when concealment garments are common, but the Beretta will be nice when the weather gets warm.

My question is this, what are some good self defense rounds for the .32? I have read quite a few posts on the subject, and it seems that people are split between using hollow points and using FMJs. Any suggestions? What about Glasers or Magsafes? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have found that all FMJ rounds that I have tried worked great, out of the HP rnds a few brands have not worked quit as well, FTF. However I have had great luck with Speer Golddots and use them for defensive rounds, while I have not tried any I hear that silver tips work quite well, as well.

Great Scot,

RTFM...

Look for the earlier threads on this information.

I know it's there because I wrote some of it!
