I ordered a couple of boxes of the Wolf Gold 71 gr JHP's from Midway recently and was wondering if anyone else has tried this out? Its rated 903 fps, brass cased and for a box of 50 (< $ 15 pre-shipping) looks like the price is right.

Anybody else tried this out of their P-32 or other .32ACP pistols?

If it's made by Privi Partizan (nny), it's very good in my P32. The overall length is just right. I've fired 100-150 without a problem.

On another board they mentioned that PP IS the manufacturer, so that sounds promising.

I can tell you right now, I doubt they will expand. I have used Wolf Gold JHP's in .380 through my P3AT. They functioned perfect but would not expand in any of my tests. I had similar results in my 7.62x25 tok CZ52. The bullets wouldn't even expand at 1500fps! For plinking, they are just fine. For defence, might as well carry FMJ. Fine ammo, poor bullets.

Even if they don't expand, right now not only are they cheaper than any thing else to shoot, but they are in stock locally. Have a new .32 to try out, so I guess I'll give them a shot.

better sight picture. I use S&B's in my .32 ACP pistols, but I expect these Wolf's will be just fine. Europeans load them hotter than any mainstream commercial .32's here in the US, and take the round more seriopusly than most do here.
The .32 ACP was Browning's first pistol cartridge design, and he really liked it a lot.
