.45 ACP with Hornady SST's?

Has anyone tried loading .45 ACP using the .45 caliber 250 grain SST bullet? The only way I know to get the projectiles loose is to buy them with sabots in the ML aisle...

Navy, you might try reposting in the reloading forum. Are you thinking of trying those in the .45 bolt gun?

Edit: My bad, I see you DID post in the reloading section. I hadn't gotten that far down the forums when I posted this.
